What is a lead enrichment API?

Instead of scraping each site and hunting down people yourself, POST /v1/lead does it in a single call.

How do you find the founders' LinkedIn and X?

The people usually aren't listed on the company site, so webclaw recovers them from the open web via search, then validates each name before attaching their LinkedIn and X. The people_source field records where they came from.

Can it replace Clearbit or ZoomInfo?

For an outreach-ready lead from a public company website, yes. You get fresh founders and leadership with their social profiles, plus company data scraped on demand rather than pulled from a stale database. It does not return funding, HQ, phone, or guessed contact emails — only what is on the site or corroborated by search.

What does it not return?

No funding, HQ, phone numbers, or guessed/unverified emails. Those are not reliably available from a public site, so webclaw stays honest and leaves them out rather than making them up.

How much does a lead cost?

A successful lead is a flat 100 credits, and a failed fetch charges nothing. For reference, /v1/extract is 25 credits — a lead runs several scrapes plus a web search for the people and returns them as one object.
